We recently had the pleasure of touring an incredible New York penthouse just dripping with chic, bohemian style. The space speaks to the power of beautiful interior design, as each room is unique and beautiful, yet cohesive too. The juxtaposition of clean white walls and furniture with vibrant, Moroccan-inspired accents give the space a modern look that's both polished and playful. Take the full tour below and you'll see why we fell in love with the space on first sight.
The living room is the true heart of this home, with a comfy sectional sofa and tons of natural light. The coffee table, with it's intricate detailing and Arabesque patterns, is the show-stopper (although we're also mad for that blue table lamp and the pop of color it provides).
There's also a stylish sitting area, complete with this stunning bookshelf. The residents clearly have great taste in furniture, but also in literature, as we spot a few of our favorite titles!
This would easily be our favorite spot for relaxing with one of said books, if we lived here. The views are almost as spectacular as the accent chair and ottoman.
Again, the pop of blue adds a fresh twist to the traditional bohemian palette of pinks and reds and purples. Here's a similar style stool you can snag for you own home, if you like the look.
The dining room has an open-concept feel, opening onto both the kitchen and living room. The chairs are incredible, as are the Moroccan-inspired pendant lamps that hang overhead.
The emerald green backsplash is stunning against the white motif in the kitchen, don't you think?
The master bedroom carries the same Moroccan-inspired vibe, with help from a colorful floral quilt.
The guest bedroom has a similar version, tying the two rooms together stylistically while also offering it's own personality with light turquoise walls.
The final punch of style comes from the wonderful patterned tile in the bathroom. You may recall that our very own Mark Cutler predicted pattern tile to be one of the year's hot trends, and this example is proof of how impactful it can be.
