Even the notoriously acerbic Violet Crawley might be pleased the hear about the newest release from the beloved British import in which she stars. In a perhaps not-so-surprising turn, the show has partnered with lighting manufacturer River of Goods to produce a Downton Abbey collection, slated for spring 2015. We say not-so-surprising because, with its period-perfect ornate pieces and gorgeous, luminous sets, a lighting collection inspired by the show seems like an ideal match. And for those obsessed with the impressive styles of the large dining rooms and drawing rooms and libraries of the show, the new line (or something like it) has been long since anxiously anticipated.

The collection will include twenty designs featuring a variety of the lighting pieces often seen on the show, and styles spanning the time periods of the drama's timeline of just prior to World War I through the 1920's. Luckily for fans of the show, the line is not limited to any particular kind of lighting, and will have a range of floor and table lamps, wall sconces, accent lamps, pendants and chandeliers.

The best part is that you won't need a fabulous inheritance in the family to bring some Downton Abbey into your home, as the lighting pieces will have suggested retail prices of $35 to $400. So start scrutinizing those scenes as you watch them—you may just be able to take home that gorgeous chandelier they're conversing under. (via Home Accents Today)
